Before
I launched my own coaching practice there was a definite
part of me that thought that I’d have absolutely

began my new adventure with earnest. I threw myself

I knew it, the time had come for me to actually get

simple yet inevitable realisation was quite overwhelming
to say the least!
Now
I’d love to be able to tell you that I had potential
clients fighting each other as they vied for my limited
time but the reality was actually something quite
different. The new business phone line that I just
had installed certainly didn’t ring off the
hook. In fact, I was lucky if it rang at all.
My
goal was to have a prosperous practice but my reality
was a constant daily struggle just to get by!
Something
had to change!
My
lack of early success signalled to my brain that something
had to change and change fast!
Probably
the biggest lesson I had to learn in the early days
was the fact that I was never actually going to make
a success of my coaching practice unless I learnt
how to market myself. I could be the best coach in
the world, but if no one had heard about me, I knew
I would soon go out of business....

One
thing I knew for certain, was the fact that success
leaves clues. I knew that there were coaches out there
who were already filling their practices. My mission
become to find out precisely what they did to become
successful.
I
followed a basic three step process (which you can
